Dead Rabbit Mental Health Fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated or purchased raffle tickets for the EIIC’s mental health fundraiser at The Dead Rabbit. It was a night of friendship and solidarity, dedicated to raising awareness for our counselling services which have helped and supported so many young Irish people living in NYC.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shane Boyle and Hugh Byrne for sharing their powerful and inspiring stories. A special thank you to Hugh and Jenny O’Leary in their work in planning the event, and to Sophie Colgan for emceeing and running the raffle, during which many fantastic prizes were won! Some of the prize winners included Lorcan Shannon, who walked away with one of two limited printed by Gerard Deasy at GDC art, and Claire McGovern who will hopefully soon be using her voucher to dine at Sweetwater Restaurant in Brooklyn! Congratulations also to Dan Delaney of Beyond the Pale Bar who won the two return JetBlue flights to anywhere in the world!

Your support not only makes these wonderful events possible but also helps us continue providing essential services to those in need. We would like to thank our sponsors and everyone who came out to this sold-out event in solidarity to support us and each other. Together, we’re making a real difference in the lives of our community. We are looking forward to seeing you all again next year!

To reach out to EIIC to learn more about and access these services please contact our Woodlawn office 718-324-3039 x 101 or the Woodside office 718–478-5502 x 213.

EIIC Mental Health Fundraiser

On Sunday, November 10th, the Emerald Isle Immigration Center will host a fundraiser in the Dead Rabbit to support and bring awareness to our mental health services.

The goal of our event is to raise much needed funds for the Emerald Isle Immigration Center’s Metal Health Services – specifically the Therapy and Counseling which we have provided at no cost to hundreds of young Irish people over the past 36 Years. With the money raised here, the EIIC will be able to take on new clients who may not have otherwise been able to access Mental Health services because of a lack of resources or information, which could have life-changing impacts for people struggling as they pursue their lives thousands of miles away from home.

Our event has sold out but please support us by purchasing tickets to our raffle with some amazing prizes including –

2 Return Flights | Jet Blue | Any destination

2 Nights Stay + 1 Dinner  | 4 Star Dunmore House Hotel | Clonakilty, Ireland

Dinner | Lucky’s Steakhouse | Soho

4 Tickets | Amble | Choice of an Ireland gig or their sold out night at The Bowery in NYC

… and many more!
