EIIC Annual Citizenship Day Event

Emerald Isle Immigration Center (EIIC) warmly invites you for our Annual Citizenship Day Event on Friday, September 8, 2023 as we recognize those who have become U.S. citizens, and those who are taking steps to become U.S. citizens.

We will be hosting an Acoustic Music Session by EIIC Creatives & Painting session by Alejandro Pinzon and would love to see you there!

Getting Ready for Back-to-School Means Making Sure your Children are Covered

New York State has resumed eligibility reviews and renewals for individuals enrolled in Medicaid, Child Health Plus or the Essential Plan. This means you may need to take action to renew your health insurance or the health insurance of your children. Make sure your address is up to date. Make sure NY State of Health or your local Medicaid office has your current mailing address, phone number and email address so they can contact you about your health insurance.

If you have health insurance through NY State of Health:

  • Call NY State of Health at 1-855-355-5777, or log into your account at nystateofhealth.ny.gov.

If you have Medicaid through your county’s Medicaid office or through New York City’s Human Resources Administration (HRA), contact your local office to update your address and contact information.

IBO J-1 Workshop

The Irish Business Organization of New York hosted its first virtual workshop to help J-1 Graduate Visa holders from Ireland get organized, connected and noticed. Presenters Seán O’Dowd, Tom Matteo and Ciara Brady shared best practices and answered questions during this inaugural J-1 Workshop sponsored by the IBO and the EIIC (Emerald Isle Immigration Center) of New York.
